Founder

Built from Experience. Driven by Passion.

With over 45 years in cricket as a player, coach, and international umpire, Gerard Abood saw one big problem: most training gear didn’t reflect how the game is played.

That’s why he founded Pitch A Products — to design smarter, safer, and more realistic tools for coaches and players.

The Pitch A Net has been a fantastic addition for our cricket program at Barker College. With no turf nets to utilise, and limited field space shared between many different summer sports, the Pitch A Net has allowed training to go ahead on our turf centre wickets.

The Pitch A Net has proved to be incredibly easy to move across the field and set up at the centre wicket, requiring only two people and less than five minutes. On top of being easy to set up, it’s design means that bowlers, batters and even wicket-keepers are kept safe with no rebounding balls at high speeds.

I would highly recommend the Pitch A Net as a low maintenance, easy to use and cricketer friendly option for any groups looking to utilise their turf centre wickets for practice.
